Dr. Chandrakanta K. Mathur is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, University of Delhi and a prominent social activist, who has been raising her voice for the upliftment of deprived section of the society and women’s right. She has authored and edited several books covering various areas comprising of Panchayati Raj, Ambedkar and women Empowerment , Your Law and your Rights, Legislative Support, The Role of Media in India, Constitution of India and related fields. During her more than fourteen years of interactive teaching she has been deeply associated with woman rights movement, She has been credited with many Academic Article in deferent leading newspapers and Research papers in many national and international Seminar. She has many Awards in her name like Dr.Radhakrishnan Memorial Award , Matrashakti Award, Best Teaching Award, Women of The Year etc. awards for Academic contribution and social activism she has distinction of being the founder of leading NGO “AAGAZ” , Gadge Ambedkar Mission Organisation and Elected as president for Women Chamber of commerce.
