About Us
AAGAZWelcome To
AAGAZ
AAGAZ is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting social development and uplifting marginalized communities. Our mission is to build a just and equitable society where every individual, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
We work across a wide range of sectors including education, women’s empowerment, legal aid, agriculture, livelihood development, sports and social inclusion. Our initiatives are focused on both rural and urban communities, especially targeting vulnerable groups such as women, children, landless farmers, agricultural labourers, and persons with disabilities.
AAGAZ actively supports landless farmers and agricultural labourers by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, skill development, and awareness programs that enhance productivity and ensure better livelihood opportunities.
We are equally committed to empowering visually impaired individuals, particularly blind students and girls, by providing educational support, accessible learning resources, and mentorship to help them become confident and self-reliant.
In addition, AAGAZ promotes sports and physical development among youth from marginalized communities. We believe sports play a vital role in building discipline, confidence, teamwork, and overall personality development.
Our founder, Dr. Chandrakanta K. Mathur, is a renowned Professor, Writer, and Social Activist with a distinguished academic background from the University of Delhi. Her vision and dedication towards social justice and gender equality continue to guide the organization’s impactful work.
At AAGAZ, we believe that sustainable development is only possible through collaboration. We work closely with communities, government bodies, and partner organizations to ensure long-term and meaningful impact.
AAGAZ is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with Registration No. S-55194 of 2006, registered in Delhi on 21-03-2006. Unique ID: DL/2016/0099051
